Arjun Erigaisi has won the challengers tournament in Wijk aan Zee. The 18-year-old grandmaster did not lose a match during the whole tournament and today he secured his victory with a draw. Erigaisi’s tournament victory is a big step forward on the world rankings. He has now climbed to the 85th place. Because of his victory, Erigaisi is already secured of a spot for the Tata Steel Masters tournament in 2023.
