You can register here. Registering your visit is mandatory.
What is the price of a ticket?
Visitor tickets are free of charge.
Can I buy tickets for multiple days?
You can register for all days you will visit the tournament in a single order. It is mandatory to register for all days you visit the Tata Steel Chess Tournament.
Can I buy multiple tickets for one day?
It is not possible to buy tickets for multiple persons in one order. Every person needs to register his/her visit individually.
Can I buy a ticket at the playing venue?
Registering your visit at the playing venue is possible. Take into account the given day might be sold out.
Can I register without an e-mail account?
It is not possible to register without an e-mail adress. The tickets for your visit will be sent to you via e-mail.

From what time is the event accessible?
The venue opens its doors at 12:00, with the restaurant already open. The doors to the playing hall open daily 30-15 minutes before the start of the round.
Can I pay with cash at the hospitality or merchandise?
No, it's a completely cashless event.
Can I bring my phone in the playing hall?
Your phone should only be carried in a bag or pocket and on airplane mode.
I want to pay with my phone, but I am not allowed to use it in the playroom.
Use of the phone may result in disqualification as an amateur tournament participant, payments can be made by debit card.
How can I contact a confidant?
