Matthias Bluebaum is a German grandmaster and one of the most consistent players on the international chess circuit. Born on 18 April 1997, he has established himself as a regular competitor at the highest level through strong performances in elite tournaments.
A former European Chess Champion, Bluebaum reached another major milestone in his career by finishing second at the FIDE Grand Swiss, securing qualification for the Candidates Tournament. His deep preparation, resilience and fighting spirit have made him a formidable opponent against the world’s top players.
