Biography
Javokhir Sindarov is an Uzbek grandmaster and one of the leading players of the new generation. Born on 8 December 2005, he has already achieved major successes on both individual and team level.
Sindarov was part of Uzbekistan’s gold-medal winning team at the Chess Olympiad and continues to impress with his maturity and composure against elite opponents. Recently Sindarov achieved his greatest achievement yet, winning the FIDE World Cup and qualifying for the Candidates Tournament!
At the 2026 Tata Steel Chess Tournament, Javokhir Sindarov competes in the Masters group in Wijk aan Zee.
