Biography
Born on 8 December 2005 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Javokhir Sindarov is a grandmaster who has been active at the highest level of international chess from a young age.
Sindarov earned the grandmaster title in 2019. In 2025, he won the FIDE World Cup, securing qualification for the Candidates Tournament. He was also part of the Uzbekistan team that won the gold medal at the 2022 Chess Olympiad.
He reached a peak FIDE rating of 2726 and has been ranked among the world’s top players. At the Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2026, Sindarov competes in the Masters group in Wijk aan Zee.
