Biography
Nodirbek Abdusattorov was born on 18 September 2004 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He became a grandmaster in 2018 and has been a regular presence in top-level international chess since then.
Abdusattorov has competed multiple times in the Tata Steel Chess Tournament in Wijk aan Zee, constantly having great results finishing in the top-3 in his last three tournaments.
Outside Wijk aan Zee, one of his most notable achievements is winning the FIDE World Rapid Chess Championship in 2021. He was also part of the Uzbekistan team that won the gold medal at the 2022 Chess Olympiad.
At the Tata Steel Chess Tournament 2026, he returns to compete in the Masters group in Wijk aan Zee.
